Brad and Amy celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on November 20, 2010.
They have two children: Robert, age 12, and  Virginia, age 9. The family has several pets: five cats, two
ferrets, and nine horses.
How "Gingerbread Acres" got its name by Amy Barnett

When my daughter, Virginia, was born, my son could not say her name.  Instead he said, "Ginger",
and then, "Gingerbread!"  This has been her nickname ever since, and so we decided to name
our business "Gingerbread Acres" because if Virginia hadn't loved horses just as much as I do,
we wouldn't have the property.
Our homeschool is Bright Fame Academy, named after my son, Robert, whose name means
"Bright Fame".
"A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it
cannot save.  But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those
whose hope is in His unfailing love..."  Psalm 33: 17-18
